About EdTrace

School performance data that anyone can find

EdTrace is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that lets state education agencies, charter school authorizers, and school districts publish school performance data publicly — replacing disconnected PDFs and spreadsheets with a live, searchable portal that parents, legislators, and community members can actually use.

Every EdTrace portal is branded to the agency that runs it, updated from a secure admin interface, and designed to meet government accessibility and procurement standards out of the box.

Why EdTrace exists

State education agencies collect detailed performance data on every school they oversee. Sharing it with the public has historically meant a PDF buried in a website's document library, a spreadsheet emailed to anyone who asked, or a custom report card system that costs seven figures and takes three years to build.

EdTrace is none of those things. It's a purpose-built platform that turns the data agencies already collect into a public-facing portal — searchable by school name, city, or grade level, with star ratings, CRT performance, attendance, and intervention status all in one place.

Built by IdealixAI LLC

EdTrace is built and maintained by IdealixAI LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in Reno, Nevada. IdealixAI builds data management and transparency tools for government and education agencies, including a Grants Management System built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The team behind EdTrace has direct experience working inside charter school authorizer offices — which means the platform reflects how these agencies actually operate, not how a generic SaaS vendor imagines they do.

Government procurement

EdTrace is available through Carahsoft Technology Corp. via NASPO ValuePoint, GSA Schedule, and OMNIA Partners contract vehicles. State and local agencies can procure EdTrace without a competitive RFP process, reducing time-to-value significantly.
