Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

IdealixAI LLC is committed to ensuring EdTrace is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We design and build EdTrace to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Conformance status

EdTrace substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is evaluated during every development sprint as part of our standard release process. Known limitations are documented below.

Technical specifications

EdTrace relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • WAI-ARIA
  • JavaScript (React / Next.js)

These technologies are used in combination with supported assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast display modes.

Known limitations

While we aim for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:

  • Some data visualizations, including bar charts and performance indicators, may not convey all information to screen reader users. Text equivalents are provided where possible.
  • Complex interactive components such as search filters are keyboard navigable but may not fully announce state changes in all screen reader and browser combinations.

We are actively working to address these limitations in upcoming releases.

Section 508

EdTrace is available through Carahsoft Technology Corp. via GSA Schedule, NASPO ValuePoint, and OMNIA Partners contract vehicles. IdealixAI LLC is committed to meeting Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for federal and state agency deployments. If you encounter a Section 508 barrier, contact us using the information below.

Feedback and contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing any part of EdTrace, contact us at accessibility@idealixai.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

When contacting us, include the page URL where you encountered the barrier and a description of the issue. This helps us investigate and resolve it quickly.

Assessment approach

IdealixAI assesses the accessibility of EdTrace through the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria during each development sprint
  • Keyboard navigation testing across major browsers
  • Screen reader testing using VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows)
  • Color contrast verification against WCAG 2.1 AA minimum ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
